Orkney Holidays
Our Orkney holidays are 7-night, 6-day all-inclusive tours with no hidden extras, designed to make the most of your visit to Orkney. Our holiday itinerary includes the many sites and attractions of Mainland Orkney and the linked South Isles, reached via the Churchill Barriers, and we also make full day visits to the island of Rousay, with its amazing concentration of Neolithic tombs, and Hoy, a wild, rugged landscape with relics of Orkney's wartime past.
We have a wide choice of dates available for our 2010 holidays and are now taking bookings - our holidays sell out quickly so please don't leave it till the last minute or you may be disappointed.
We are also now taking advance bookings for our 2011 holidays - we guarantee if you book now there will be no price increases for 2011
With a maximum group size of eight, this is the ideal way to see Orkney with a small party of like-minded travellers. Our tour leaders are professional archaeologists who live and work in Orkney all year round, unlike many tour leaders who only visit Orkney once a year.
We find our groups bond very well and have a great time - so much so that we have started to run 'returners weeks' for people who have toured with us before and enjoyed it so much that they wanted to come back and visit more of our beautiful islands. These trips have been a great success:
I wanted to thank you for a truly lovely Orkney trip. I enjoyed this new one every bit as much as I enjoyed the first. You could not have done anything to make it better. I loved using the ferries all of the time and exploring the other islands. I thought about whether or not I had a favourite bit and I didn't. I ended up having to think of a favourite bit for each day! Carol W, Morecambe
